In 1989, gas, corn and pellet stoves were added and are part of our 6,000 square foot display, featuring 100 wood stoves, gas stoves, fireplaces and inserts.

Originally established in 1922 by Mr. and Mrs. Russell Smith, the Smith Funeral Home was purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Leslie R. Peters in 1938. They operated the Peters Funeral Home until 1960, at which time Tom and Phyllis Murray became associates. The name was changed to Peters & Murray Funeral Home in 1965 when the Murrays became partners in the business.
