Residents

Amy: Amy was our first resident to move into the Chosen Vision group home in 2002. Though she loves the community at Chosen Vision, Amy also enjoys the satisfaction of her volunteer work at Goodwill, as well as her part time job at Target. Amy's hobbies include dancing, cooking, and watching Monday Night Raw Wrestling whenever possible.

Holly: Holly has truly gained a sense of independence since moving into the Chosen Vision - Grand Ledge home in 2002. She is a steward to those around her and enjoys packing lunches for her peers on a daily basis. Other interests include playing cards, taking trips to the mall and listening to the music of smooth rock balladeer Michael Bolton.

Valerie: Since coming to Chosen Vision from a government facility, Val has blossomed socially and let her personality shine. When Val arrived, she was hesitant to talk to others and was very afraid of water. Yet soon after her arrival in 2002, Val let her sense of humor come out and will even frequent water parks if the weather is right. Around the house, Val is known to love horses, shopping and making you laugh until your side is about to split!

Kathryn: Kathy is our eldest member at Chosen Vision and arrived to the Grand Ledge house in 2003. Among other talents, Kathy is highly skilled at cross-stitching and sewing and is more than helpful when cleaning up after mealtime. She also loves to do laundry and make sure that the home is always neat and tidy.

Kim: Kim has thrived in Chosen Vision's family environment since moving here in 2007. She loves to play games with other house members and is particularly fond of both UNO and Skip-Bo. Kim is a very social person who can always be seen talking to her closest friends on the phone and giving out the best hugs to fellow housemates and staff.

Laura: Laura is our most recent addition to the Chosen Vision family and has been with us since 2008. She is a proud member of the Transitions North Community Mental Health Workshop (along with Val) and enjoys community-based activities within the Chosen Vision home. Laura loves almost anything involving music and especially likes going to church every weekend.

Adrienne: Adrienne Motz currently resides in Dewitt and will be the first person to join the Chosen Vision - Dewitt Home upon completion. Adrienne thrives when she is busy with her various classes, jobs, and volunteering positions. In addition to working at Sweetie-Licious and the Gold Standard in Dewitt, Adrienne also loves to be social in her bowling group and cooking class.
